An email sequence is a decision path, not five reminders. If two sends do the same job, one of them is noise.
Use the newsletter template for a recurring editorial send rather than a finite campaign.
Read the sequence as one argument
Recognition names the situation in terms the reader already understands. Explanation shows why the current approach produces that situation. Proof demonstrates that the offered alternative is credible. Objection handles the strongest reason a suitable reader might still wait. Decision makes the terms and next action plain. Changing this order is allowed, but every send still needs a distinct decision to move.
The stop rule is as important as the subject line. A trial user should not keep receiving messages asking them to start a trial. A person who replied should leave an automated persuasion sequence and enter a human conversation. Define those exits before upload, then test them with internal addresses rather than assuming the automation builder interpreted them correctly.
Review evidence across the campaign
Create one claim ledger for all five sends. Record the source, permitted wording and expiry of every price, result, deadline and quotation. This prevents a safe first email being followed by an unsupported claim in email four. If the evidence cannot support five distinct messages, shorten the campaign. Sequence length is not a goal.
Build a five-email campaign from [OFFER_AND_EVIDENCE] for an audience that
currently believes [STARTING_POINT]. Output a table: Send trigger | Decision
to change | Subject | Opening line | Evidence used | One CTA | Stop rule.
Sequence the jobs as recognition, explanation, proof, objection and decision.
Do not invent scarcity, testimonials, benchmarks or product behaviour. Do
not send a later email after the recipient has completed its goal. List any
unsupported promise under REMOVE OR PROVE.What to change
Everything in square brackets is yours to replace. Nothing else needs editing.
[OFFER_AND_EVIDENCE]- The offer, terms and proof that the campaign may safely use.
[STARTING_POINT]- What this audience already knows, doubts or misunderstands.
How to run it
- 01Approve the sequence before prose
Check that each send changes a different decision and earns its place.
- 02Wire the stop rules
Suppress messages that become irrelevant after signup, purchase or reply.

A useful example shows why each message exists, when it sends, what evidence it uses, what action it asks for and when the sequence stops—not only finished copy.
