AI SEO services for both searches

Your buyers still use Google and they now also ask an assistant. The base that wins one largely wins the other, and building it twice is how budgets get wasted. One technical foundation, measured on your live pages.

Run the free audit

AI SEO is classic search engine optimization plus the layer that decides whether AI systems can read, trust and quote your site. The two share a foundation: crawlable pages, clean structure, correct entities and real expertise. Build that once and it serves Google rankings and AI answers together rather than as two budgets.

What actually changed, and what did not

Two things are true at once and the category keeps insisting on only one of them. Traffic patterns have genuinely shifted; the underlying requirements have barely moved.

The click is not guaranteed any more

An AI Overview or an assistant answer can satisfy a question without anyone visiting a site. That is real and it changes what a ranking is worth, particularly for definitional and how to queries. It does not mean search traffic ended, and any agency whose pitch requires you to believe it did is selling panic.

The requirements barely changed

Crawlable, fast, correctly structured, genuinely expert, corroborated elsewhere. That was good SEO in 2020 and it is what makes a page quotable now. The genuinely new work is narrow: AI crawler access, the render gap, entity clarity and answer shaped openings.

Doing it twice is the expensive mistake

Buying an SEO retainer and a separate GEO retainer usually buys the same technical audit twice at two prices. The work overlaps almost entirely below the content layer, and splitting it across two vendors mostly buys you two reports that disagree.

What an AI SEO engagement covers

The classic disciplines, plus the four things that are genuinely new. Every line has a named artefact and a way of being measured.

Technical foundation

Crawlability, indexability, canonicals, sitemaps, hreflang and Core Web Vitals, checked across your site rather than on a sample page. All 36 checks run against the live response, so the report describes what a crawler received rather than what the CMS intended.

AI crawler access and rendering

The genuinely new technical work: per bot access rules, and closing the render gap so a crawler that runs no JavaScript still receives your content. On a modern front end this is usually the finding that changes the most.

Content that ranks and can be quoted

Briefs from your own ranking and citation gaps, drafts written answer first with claims sourced, published into your CMS by us or handed to your editor. Scored before publish on the same engine we sell.

Entities and structured data

Organization, Service, Article and FAQ schema across the templates, and a sameAs set covering every profile you own, validated in the deployed HTML rather than in a staging preview.

Authority off your own site

Directory listings, review platform presence and digital PR. It has always mattered for rankings and it matters more for AI answers, which lean harder on third party corroboration than Google ever did.

One report, both surfaces

Rankings, traffic and AI citations side by side each month, with the work of that period itemised against the movement. One report rather than two that disagree.

How it runs

Same order every time, and the first step is one you can do yourself before deciding anything.

  1. 01

    Audit the whole site, free

Every page crawled and scored, plus the AI visibility baseline. It produces an issue count and a priority order, and it costs nothing because it costs us an API call rather than a day of somebody senior.

  2. 02

    Fix the base

Technical issues in priority order, worst first, with the before and after from the same checks. This is where the first month goes and it is the part with a measurable result inside days.

  3. 03

    Publish against the gaps

Content aimed at the questions the audit and the prompt set showed you losing, written to rank and to be quotable, which are no longer separate briefs.

  4. 04

    Report, rerun, adjust

Monthly, tying movement to shipped work. The audit is rerunnable by you at any time, which is what makes the report evidence rather than a document we produced.

Measured, not estimated

Every number in an engagement here comes from your live pages. The audit reads the response a crawler gets, Core Web Vitals come from real field data where Google has it, and the AI visibility figures come from asking the engines your questions and recording what came back. Nothing is modelled from a database of averages.

That is a deliberate constraint and it costs us things. It means we cannot show you a search volume figure for a keyword nobody has measured, and we will not put one on a slide to make a plan look more certain than it is. An estimate presented as a measurement is the most common dishonesty in this industry and our own product exists to catch it.

It also means you can check us. Rerun the audit yourself on any page, any time, and get the same numbers. That is not a feature we added for transparency, it is the same engine, and it is the reason a monthly report here is something you can argue with rather than something you have to accept.

If your question is narrower than this page, the specific disciplines have their own: GEO for being named in AI answers, AEO for winning the extracted answer, and LLM SEO for the per model mechanics.

What buyers ask about AI SEO

What is AI SEO?

Search engine optimization done so that both Google and AI systems can read, trust and use your site. It is the classic disciplines, crawlability, structure, content and authority, plus four genuinely new pieces: AI crawler access, closing the render gap, entity clarity and answer shaped page openings. The vocabulary around it is a mess, so we wrote explainers for GEO, AEO and LLM SEO separately.

Is SEO dead now that AI answers questions?

No, and the framing is usually a sales device. What has changed is that some queries are satisfied without a click, which lowers the value of ranking for definitional and how to terms and leaves commercial terms largely intact. The base that wins an AI citation is the same base that ranks, so the correct response is to build it once rather than to panic.

Should we buy SEO and GEO separately?

Usually not. Below the content layer the work is almost the same, so two retainers frequently means paying for the same technical audit twice and receiving two reports that disagree. One engagement covering both, with the AI layer reported alongside rankings, is cheaper and easier to argue about internally.

Do you use AI to write the content?

We use it the way any competent team does, for research, outlining and first drafts, and every piece is edited by a person who knows the subject and is checked against sources. What we do not do is publish unedited generated text, because our own engine scores exactly the things that gives away and we would be shipping work that fails our own audit.

How is this measured?

Everything comes from your live pages. 36 checks against the real response, Core Web Vitals from field data where it exists, rankings from Search Console, and AI visibility from asking the engines your own questions. You can rerun the audit yourself at any time and get the same numbers, which is what makes the monthly report checkable.

What does it cost?

Software from $24 a month, done for you plans at $99, $299 and $799 a month, month to month with every limit published. Agency retainers for comparable work start around $2,500 a month and run past $25,000; the named table with sources is on what GEO costs.

How long until we see something?

Technical fixes show up as soon as pages are recrawled, usually days to weeks, and the audit score changes immediately. Content and authority work compounds over three to six months. The first month is deliberately weighted towards the fast, checkable half so you find out early whether this is working.

Get the issue count before you get a proposal

The audit crawls your site, scores every page and hands you a prioritised issue list, free. It is the same measurement any proposal on this page would be built from, and you can take it anywhere.
