Start Your Site Audit
Live technical SEO and AI visibility check. Takes about a minute.
Measuring rankings in
Public pages only. Your report opens in your private dashboard.
This is a free SEO audit tool that checks any public URL against 36 technical checks and returns a scored report. It covers classic technical SEO, whether AI crawlers such as GPTBot and ClaudeBot are allowed in, whether the page survives without JavaScript, and Core Web Vitals. Everything is measured on your live page.
What the audit measures
Three layers, one score, all read from your live response, not a database estimate.
Technical SEO
Status, redirects, titles, meta, headings, canonical, sitemap and indexability, checked live.
AI & GEO
Whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended can read you, plus llms.txt and the JS render gap.
Real performance
Response time, compression and Core Web Vitals from Google PageSpeed Insights, actual field data where available.
What happens when you run it
Four steps, about a minute, and nothing to install.
- 01
You paste a URL
No account needed to start and no card at any point. Public pages only, because the crawler signs in to nothing.
- 02
We fetch the live page
Your real response, exactly as a crawler receives it, rather than a cached copy or a number from a database. Every one of the 36 checks runs against that response.
- 03
It renders a second time without JavaScript
So the report can tell you what an engine that runs no scripts actually got, which on a modern front end is frequently not what you see.
- 04
You get a scored report
A grade per category and a named finding per failed check, with what to change. It opens in your private dashboard and it is yours to keep.
All 36 checks, by category
The full list the crawler iterates, grouped the way the report scores them. Each category gets its own grade so a strong average cannot hide one failing area.
Crawlability and indexing
Whether a crawler can reach the page and is allowed to keep it: robots rules, sitemap, canonical target, indexability and the directives that quietly exclude a page from search.
On-page SEO
Titles, meta descriptions, heading order, language and hreflang. The unglamorous half, and still the half most sites lose points on.
AI and GEO
Access for GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google Extended read separately, plus llms.txt, the JavaScript render gap and whether a passage can be quoted cleanly.
Performance
Response time, compression, caching headers, render blocking resources and Core Web Vitals from Google PageSpeed Insights, using field data where your site has enough traffic to have any.
Content
Depth, readability, the ratio of text to markup, and whether the page carries the freshness and attribution signals that generative engines lean on.
Media
Alt coverage, image formats and loading strategy. Cheap to fix and disproportionately visible to anything reading the page without eyes.
Security
Security headers and mixed content. Not a ranking factor in itself, and a fast way to lose trust from both browsers and crawlers.
Structured data
Whether your schema parses at all. It is one check because it is binary: valid markup is read, invalid markup is silently ignored rather than flagged.
Prefer to check one thing at a time? Every category above has a free single purpose tool behind it, no account needed. The most used are the AI crawler checker, the render gap checker and the structured data checker.
Questions about the free audit
Is this SEO audit really free?
Yes, and there is no card at any step. You paste a URL and get a scored report across every check. The paid plans exist for scheduled reruns, tracking more pages and watching movement over time, none of which you need to see where a single page stands today.
How long does the audit take?
About a minute for a single page. Most of that is the Core Web Vitals call to Google PageSpeed Insights, which is the one part we cannot make faster because it is a real measurement rather than an estimate held in a table.
What does the audit actually check?
36 checks across eight categories: crawlability and indexing, on page SEO, AI and GEO access, performance, content, media, security and structured data. Every result is read from your live response. Nothing in the report is inferred from a database or estimated from a sample of similar sites.
Do I need to install anything or verify my site?
No. It reads your public pages the same way any search engine or AI crawler does, so there is no tag to add, no DNS record and no verification step. That also means it can audit a competitor, which is the second most common use it gets.
How is this different from other free SEO checkers?
Two things. It renders your page a second time with JavaScript disabled and reports the difference, which is how it finds pages that look fine to you and arrive empty at a crawler. And it reads AI crawler access per bot rather than treating robots.txt as one setting, because GPTBot and ClaudeBot are allowed or refused independently and most sites have never checked.
Can I audit a whole site rather than one page?
Yes. The single page check is what runs here without an account; a full site crawl scores every page it finds and shows which templates are dragging the average down. That is what the paid plans are for, and the single page report tells you whether it is worth running one.
